Rosacea is a long-term skin condition that causes redness, flushing and visible broken capillaries, most often across the cheeks, nose and chin. It tends to come and go, with flare-ups triggered by heat, sun, alcohol, spicy food or stress, and it often gets more noticeable over time. There's no permanent cure, but the right treatment can significantly calm redness and visible vessels, and the right skincare helps keep them under control. Our Rosacea Programme brings these together in one structured course, so you know exactly what's happening and when.
Sessions: 6 laser sessions, around four weeks apart
Cost: Price on application
HydraFacial
We start with a gentle HydraFacial to cleanse, hydrate and calm your skin before your laser course begins. Well-prepared skin responds better to treatment, and before every laser session we thoroughly cleanse the skin, as oil and product on the surface can interfere with how laser energy is absorbed. It's comfortable, has no downtime, and can be done straight after your consultation.
What to expect: A cool, gentle suction feeling. Skin may look slightly flushed for a few hours, then calmer and more hydrated.
DermaV laser
DermaV is our first-choice laser for rosacea. It is made by Lutronic, one of South Korea's leading medical laser manufacturers, and is widely used in Korea, a country known worldwide for its expertise in skin treatments. It uses two wavelengths: 532 nm KTP to target the fine surface vessels behind redness and flushing, and 1064 nm Nd:YAG to reach deeper vessels. Because it targets the blood vessels directly, many patients see improvement quickly, sometimes within three sessions. Built-in cooling keeps you comfortable throughout.
What to expect: Short cooling bursts and a warm snapping feeling during treatment. Some redness and mild swelling afterwards, which usually settles within a few days.
Lumecca IPL
If you find the downtime after DermaV harder to manage, Lumecca IPL is a gentler alternative. It uses broad-spectrum light to reduce redness and broken capillaries, though results tend to build more gradually, so a full course of six sessions is usually needed.
What to expect: A warm flash of light, like a rubber band snap. Mild redness for a few hours, and any small vessels may look darker before fading.
Rosacea Programme
Your price is confirmed at your consultation.
The programme is designed for adults with rosacea-related redness, flushing and broken capillaries. Laser for rosacea is suitable for skin types I to IV. If you have deeper skin tones, we'll talk you through other options at your consultation.
Laser treats the redness and visible vessels of rosacea. If you also have the bumps and spots that come with some types of rosacea, these may need other treatment alongside, which we'll discuss with you. The programme isn't suitable during pregnancy, with a recent tan, or with some medications and skin conditions.
Rosacea can be controlled, but it can't be cured, and it can return over time. Everyone's skin responds differently. Many people see a noticeable reduction in redness and visible vessels over the course, but flushing triggers such as heat and alcohol will still affect your skin. That's why a medical-grade skincare routine and daily SPF are part of every plan, and why top-up sessions help keep results going.
Book a skin consultation and we'll tell you honestly whether the Rosacea Programme is the right fit for your skin.
All treatments are subject to a consultation. Results vary from person to person.
