Downturned Mouth
What is it?
The depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscle pulls the corners of the mouth downwards, which can make you look sad or tired even when you're not.
Why does it happen?
A small amount of anti-wrinkle injection relaxes this muscle so the corners of the mouth sit in a more neutral position. It is often combined with filler for marionette lines or the chin for a more complete result.
