Endolift is a minimally invasive internal laser treatment designed to tighten skin, reduce small pockets of fat and redefine the lower face and neck.

It’s ideal for patients who feel their jawline has softened, have unwanted fat, have experienced weight loss, or feel non-invasive treatments like Morpheus8 are no longer providing enough tightening.

Think of this treatment as a hybrid between surgery and surface-based technologies. Using a laser fibre as fine as a hair, we’re able to stimulate collagen and contract tissue internally, which improves definition and skin structure in areas that are otherwise difficult to treat without surgery.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, so you won’t feel pain during treatment. You will experience some swelling for 1 week post-treatment, with some mild swelling lasting up to 3 weeks. Patients may notice some immediate tightening after treatment; full results will take 3-6 months to show and last between 3-5 years.

Your total treatment time will be two hours to allow time for local anaesthetic. Your practitioner will place the laser fibre just beneath the skin through a tiny entry point. No incisions or stitches are required. It’s gently moved around to deliver targeted 1470nm laser energy directly into the deep dermis and hypodermis, the layers responsible for skin structure and localised fat.

This controlled thermal energy produces three key effects; It causes immediate contraction of existing collagen fibres, stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen over time, and in selected areas, can emulsify pockets of fat, which is then naturally eliminated in the body.

As collagen remodels in the months following treatment, the skin becomes firmer, tighter and more structurally supported. In the jawline and under the chin, this combination of tightening and fat refinement improves contour and definition.

Energy levels are carefully adjusted depending on whether the primary goal is skin tightening, fat reduction or a combination of both.

What kind of results can be achieved?: Endolift is designed to help create a more defined, sculpted lower face and neck.

Over time, patients may notice an improved jawline contour, reduced jowling, and a firmer neck profile. The skin appears tighter and more supported, with a natural-looking lift.

Some tightening can be visible early on, but the most significant changes develop gradually as collagen remodels. Results typically continue to refine over the following months, reaching their full effect at around six months.

The overall outcome is a lower face that looks more structured and less heavy without the downtime or commitment of surgery.
Who is this treatment suitable and not suitable for?: We will always do a full consultation and assessment to see if you are suitable for this treatment. Endolift is most suitable for patients who are noticing early to moderate skin laxity in the lower face and neck or who have unwanted weight of heaviness in the area.

It’s ideal if your jawline has softened, if jowls have started to form, or the neck has lost definition, particularly if non-invasive treatments are no longer giving enough tightening, but you are not ready for surgery.

It can also be particularly effective following weight loss, including post-GLP-1 treatments, where skin has become looser, and definition has reduced.

You cannot have this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It’s not suitable if you have an active infection, inflammation, or certain medical conditions that may affect healing.
What is the recovery/downtime?: The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel pain during treatment.

Following treatment, swelling and tenderness are expected. The first week tends to be the most noticeable in terms of swelling, with milder residual swelling potentially lasting up to two weeks.

Most patients return to normal activities within a few days, although social downtime may be slightly longer depending on the individual.
How long do results last?: Endolift is typically performed as a single treatment. Results develop gradually and can last approximately three to five years, depending on individual ageing patterns, lifestyle and skin quality. As with all collagen-based treatments, the natural ageing process continues, but the structural improvement achieved with Endolift is long-lasting.
How painful is the treatment?: We use local anaesthetic so this will not be painful.
