DermaV Vascular Laser

DermaV is an advanced laser platform that treats both vascular and pigmented skin concerns with exceptional precision — all from a single device. Combining two clinically proven wavelengths (532nm and 1064nm), it can target thread veins, facial redness, rosacea, and broken capillaries, as well as sun spots, age spots, freckles, and other pigmentation concerns, often within the same treatment session.

What kind of results can be achieved?
The aim of DermaV Laser is to help reduce visible redness and create a more even skin tone. The laser will help the skin to look clearer, less flushed and less reactive over time. Capillaries become less visible, and that constant background redness softens. For vascular lesions such as cherry angiomas or spider veins, these can be reduced significantly or resolve completely. Results build gradually with each session rather than appearing overnight. This approach gives more stable, long-term improvement, particularly in conditions such as rosacea.
Who is this treatment suitable and not suitable for?
This treatment is suitable if you have rosacea, persistent redness, flushing, thread veins, cherry angiomas or small leg veins. It can also treat bruises, epidermal pigment spots and active acne, as well as provide skin rejuvenation. This treatment is unsuitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a tan (including fake tan), have taken isotretinoin in the past six months, are on photosensitising medication, or have an active infection, an eczema flare or a cold sore in the treatment area.
How long does it last?
Once a blood vessel has been successfully treated, it does not return; however, new vessels can form over time, particularly if you are prone to rosacea or frequent flushing. This is why maintenance treatments may be recommended. Lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, heat and alcohol can influence how long results last.
What is the recovery/downtime?
You may experience some mild redness or warmth immediately after treatment, but this usually settles within a few hours. In some cases, treated vessels may temporarily appear slightly darker before fading. This is part of the normal healing process. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.
What are the side effects and risks?
Temporary redness and swelling can occur, especially under the eyes and on the upper cheeks. It can last 2 to 5 days. Possible darkening of treated veins can appear before they fade over one to a few weeks.
How painful is the treatment?
You may feel a warm sensation throughout the treatment, which may varry depending on the condition of your skin and the area being treated. Your practitioner will work with you to make the proceedure as comfortable as possible.
Duration
Your appointment will be 30 to 60 minutes.
Preparing for treatment and aftercare
Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds and fake tan for 4 weeks before treatment. Stop retinoids, AHAs/BHAs and other exfoliating products 5–7 days before. After the treatment please avoid heat for 48 hours, including hot baths, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise. Daily SPF is essential for protecting the skin and maintaining results.
